The conventional approach to treating\u00a0<a href=\"\/remedies-treatments\/thyrosoothe-hyperthyroidism-remedy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Graves Disease<\/a>\u00a0attempts to suppress the\u00a0<a href=\"\/remedies-treatments\/immunity-plus.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Immune System<\/a>\u00a0for quick remittal of the condition.<\/p>\n<p>Conventional therapies basically attempt to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curtail thyroid hormone production with the aid of immunosuppressive drugs.<\/li>\n<li>Erode some of the thyroid tissue with radioactive iodine therapy. This reduces the amount of thyroid tissue leading to lesser hormone production.<\/li>\n<li>Remove a large part of the thyroid gland by invasive surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In all the thyroid treatment procedures mentioned above the end goal is to inhibit thyroid function. The process involves arriving at the correct dose of the drug by trial and error. Sometimes when the treatment is not followed up properly with regular visits to the doctor even after the over active thyroid has been corrected, a condition called\u00a0<a href=\"\/remedies-treatments\/thyroid-assist-hypothyroid-remedy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hypothyroidism<\/a>\u00a0can occur.
