He has enjoyed good health most of his life up until he was about 80 and even since then it has been pretty good compared to most. No doubt a factor in his good health has been due to him being a keen gardener and up until recently grew all his own\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moms-blog.com\/naturaleco-organics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Organic<\/a>\u00a0vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>BUT, about a year ago his eyesight started to fail, and he is now blind!<\/p>\n<p>Pretty traumatic going into a world of darkness after 90 years of light! He can no longer read, watch TV and of course he cannot drive any more. As a result his quality of life has taken a dramatic downturn and he says he is now ready to \u2018move on\u2019 as he feels he has had a good life and has no regrets.
