The scent is described as tangy citrus, with a fresh, sweet, green note.<\/p>\n<p>The properties of Green\u00a0<a href=\"\/remedies-treatments\/herbs-oils.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mandarin<\/a>\u00a0are similar to those of Red\u00a0<a href=\"\/remedies-treatments\/herbs-oils.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mandarin<\/a>, though gentler. It is therefore safer to use on those with delicate dispositions such as babies, sick children,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moms-blog.com\/naturaleco-organics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pregnant<\/a>\u00a0women, and the elderly.<\/p>\n<p>It is fantastic for digestive problems as it is a digestive stimulant and mild antispasmodic. For this reason it is a favorite of children and babies with upset stomachs and trapped gas. It is a tonic for the stomach and is used to calm the intestines. It is also stimulating to the liver and can help to regulate metabolic processes and may also aid the breakdown of fats.
