A dearth of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.caije.com\/remedies-treatments\/xtend-life-omega-3-fish-oil-dha-esters.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Omega-3<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.caije.com\/remedies-treatments\/xtend-life-omega-3-fish-oil-dha-esters.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fatty Acids<\/a>\u00a0can also lead to chronic inflammation. Try supplementing with 850 mg of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.akobi.com\/remedies-treatments\/herbs-oils.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Turmeric<\/a>\u00a0daily, says Lottor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Go for\u00a0<a href=\"\/health-supplement-shop\/product.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ginkgo<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although\u00a0<a href=\"\/health-supplement-shop\/product.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ginkgo<\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"\/health-supplement-shop\/product.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ginkgo<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"\/health-supplement-shop\/product.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biloba<\/a>) is often recommended for people already diagnosed with Alzheimer\u2019s disease, the most well-known form of\u00a0<a href=\"\/remedies-treatments\/memorise-memory-loss-remedy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dementia<\/a>, it is now considered key to prevention (Fortschritte der Medizin Originalien, 2003, vol. 121, no. 1). \u201c<a href=\"\/health-supplement-shop\/product.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ginkgo<\/a>\u00a0can help with aspects of mental performance in otherwise healthy adults,\u201d says Logan, who credits the supplement\u2019s ability to improve blood flow to the brain. He suggests a dose of 80 mg, three times daily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ditch the spare tire<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have extra pounds around your midsection, burning excess calories may hold additional benefits. \u201cThis type of fat increases inflammation and the risk for cognitive decline,\u201d says Logan.<\/p>\n<h2>Lifestyle<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Engage the brain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some people may benefit from software marketed for brain enhancement, although Logan doesn\u2019t put too much stock in the programs. You\u2019ll do better, he says, by increasing social interaction to stimulate the brain. \u201cLearn something new,\u201d adds Lottor, who recommends organizations like Elderhostel (www.elderhostel. org), which hosts participants on learning adventures around the world. Of course, it doesn\u2019t hurt to do a daily crossword or sudoku puzzle, as well.<\/p>\n<p><em>I believe in a balanced lifestyle filled with spirituality, good eating habits, and positive thinking.
