Likewise sitting within a stone grid. Some of the listed methods for cleaning your stones are different than I have heard before.<\/p>\n<p>My take on the subject is this: Don\u2019t do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and do what makes you happy. I\u2019ve never been one for strict ritual and I feel that I have great success working with stones in whatever way suits me. Sometimes I use running tap water to clean my stones, sometimes breath, incense or\u00a0<a href=\"\/recommends\/MountainRoseHerbs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">sage<\/a>, sometimes salt. The stones tell me what they need. Perhaps certain rituals are developed for people to help develop their intuitive powers or to feel more connected.<\/p>\n<p>There was a section in the book that discussed the use of red cloth as a protective barrier for your stones. To quote: \u201cif you are carrying some crystals that are, from an energy point of view, fragile (for some ceremonial or personal use), you must protect them from the energy from other people. It is therefor important to keep your crystals wrapped in red fabric and protected from outside forces.\u201d I found this quite interesting, and had a woman make me several red flannel cloth bags.
