Rather you recognize it or not,\u00a0<a href=\"\/about\/Depression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">depression<\/a>\u00a0is progressive.<\/p><h3>The Cycle of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20220819030525\/https:\/\/natural-holistic-health.com\/about\/Depression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Depression<\/a><\/h3><p>It starts out with a need not being met. A void is not filled. It results in feelings like worry and fear which eventually interfere with your sleep.<\/p><p>You\u2019re no fun to be around and you have no desire to be. This is dangerous and the cycle must be broken.<\/p><h3>Signs of\u00a0<a href=\"\/about\/Depression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Depression<\/a><\/h3><p>Before you can interrupt the cycle of\u00a0<a href=\"\/about\/Depression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">depression<\/a>, you have to first identify it. There are a number of signs that arise such as:<\/p><ol><li>Strong feelings of hopelessness and despair<\/li><li>A desire to sleep all the time<\/li><li>Exhibiting self destructive behavior (ex: substance abuse, illicit sex)<\/li><li>Thoughts and feelings of committing suicide<\/li><li>Antisocial behavior<\/li><\/ol><h3>Kiss The Blues Goodbye<\/h3><p>The world will present myriad of ways to deal with depression including:<\/p><ul><li>Therapy<\/li><li>Pharmaceutical drugs<\/li><li>Hypnosis<\/li><\/ul><p>God has a far better way that never fails. It starts with time spent in His Word, prayer and using the power of your tongue. You will also need to take some practical and spiritual steps including:<\/p><ul><li>Guard your heart by changing the things you listen to and watch.<\/li><li>Monitor the words you allow to come out of your mouth. Speaking negatively fuels negative feelings like\u00a0<a href=\"\/about\/Depression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">depression<\/a>.<\/li><li>Speak against your problems, not about them.<\/li><li>Pray and ask God to fill the void inside of you.<\/li><li>Practice thanksgiving.<\/li><\/ul><p>These steps are a plan of action that are detailed in God\u2019s Word, The Holy Bible and outlined in the book, Winning In Troubled Times by New York Times Best Seller, Dr. Creflo Dollar.
